The Best Wine Bars in Friedrichshain 2026
In recent years, Friedrichshain has developed into one of Berlin's most exciting neighborhoods for wine lovers. Between Boxhagener Platz, Petersburger Platz, and the side streets around Warschauer Straße, small, characterful wine bars have emerged – each with its own personality, wine selection, and clientele.
Here are our favorite spots in the neighborhood to enjoy a good glass of wine – including, of course, our own home, Balance Weinbar.
## Balance Weinbar – Petersburger Platz
Located in the middle of the leafy Petersburger Platz, Balance is a place for relaxed evenings and sunny afternoons. The menu combines European wines, aperitivos, cocktails, and Italian specialties – curated by Daniele and Aurora, who in 2025 combined their love for Italian hospitality with Berlin's neighborhood charm.
Especially on Sunday afternoons, Balance is a popular meeting point: as one of the few places in the neighborhood that opens as early as 4 PM on Sundays, the wine bar is perfect for an aperitivo after a stroll in Volkspark.
📍 Petersburger Platz 1, 10249 Berlin
🕐 Tue–Sat 6 PM–1 AM | Sun 4 PM–10 PM
## END. wine & more – Heidenfeldstraße
A small, cozy corner of Italian hospitality right on Ebertystraße. END. offers a large selection of Italian white and red wines, as well as cheese and charcuterie boards for a pre-drink, with cocktails taking over later. A real insider tip off the main streets – quiet, personal, with hosts who know their wines inside out.
📍 Heidenfeldstr. 11, corner of Ebertystraße, 10249 Berlin
🕐 Mon–Sat from 6 PM, closed Sundays
## Cielo Weinbar – Lenbachstraße
Opened in early 2025 by Ivano Pirolo, former head chef at Kink, Cielo combines a natural wine-focused wine list curated by sommelier Yannick Kern with Mediterranean sharing plates of star-level quality. Stylish, lively, a must-visit for anyone who takes wine and cuisine equally seriously.
📍 Lenbachstraße 7, 10245 Berlin
🕐 Tue–Sat from 6 PM
## Wein Salon – Schreinerstraße
Dark, elegant ambiance, a large wine selection at fair prices, and friendly advice – Wein Salon scores with natural wines, local craft beer, and cocktails in a stylish atmosphere.
📍 Schreinerstraße 6, 10245 Berlin
🕐 Mon–Sat 6 PM–12/1 AM, closed Sundays
## Noble Rot Weinbar – Gärtnerstraße
With around 200 wines from German and European wine regions – from the Mosel to Tokaj – as well as Hungarian sweet wines, Noble Rot is one of the most wine-rich addresses in the neighborhood, perfect for those who like to delve deep.
📍 Gärtnerstraße 6, 10245 Berlin
🕐 Mon–Sat 5 PM–12/1 AM, Sun 3 PM–12 AM
## Our Tip
No matter which wine bar you choose – Friedrichshain is worth it for a relaxed wine evening. And if you're out on Sunday: We at Balance look forward to welcoming you to Petersburger Platz when the others are already closed.
